Final Day As An Intern!

So, my time at Realise Marketing as an Intern is over!

I can't believe how fast the time has gone, I have learnt so much over my time working with Rebecca and I have enjoyed every second. Sitting here writing this now, it doesn't even feel like its been 10 minutes since I was writing my first blog post for Realise, introducing myself and thinking about what the experience would be like. I was very lucky to be offered the opportunity not only from Rebecca, but my University too. As I've only just finished my first year, I was very keen to be able to put the things I have been learning within my degree into practice in the real world.

Rebecca definitely kept me busy throughout my time here, working on social and website reviews for clients, social media plans, writing blog posts, keyword research and plenty of work on GDPR! As well as that, I've been busy with training videos, webinars and courses to help widen my knowledge further. So I can say with confidence that my skills and knowledge about the digital marketing world has been improved massively.

When I first started with Realise, I was unsure as to what kind of path I wanted to take within my career and now I am pretty certain I would like to begin my own digital marketing agency sometime in the future! It has also inspired me to perhaps start my own blog, I have always loved writing and this has definitely solidified this for me.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Rebecca, she has put her trust in me to complete a lot of tasks from a remote work environment and I hope I have done them up to a high standard. She has given me the opportunity to learn new skills, develop my current ones and has been so patient with me and taking the time to explain things if they weren't understood the first time round!

Now, I'm off to enjoy the rest of the hot summer weather before starting second year in September!
