My final week with Realise
I am now in the last week of my internship with Realise and cannot believe how fast the time has gone!
When I was lucky enough to be offered this internship, I was excited at the prospect of putting my studies into practice and gaining real-world experience in the industry. I have done not only this, but also learned invaluable skills from Rebecca that will help me in my future career.
I have really enjoyed my time working for Realise, having had the opportunity to work in many aspects of marketing, such as creating content, performing website analysis, undertaking research for both clients and Realise, writing content for both the company and Birmingham Chamber of Commerce blog and having the chance to attend networking events. I have also utilised many resources which I am now familiar with such as MailChimp, Buffer, Pablo, Canva, Trello and PassPack to name a few! The skills I have learnt working alongside Rebecca will undoubtedly prove to be valuable when I finish university and come to look for a career in the industry.
When I first started with Realise, I had a general idea in which area of digital marketing I was interested in pursuing but having had the chance to gain practical experience I now have a clear vison of where I want to be in the future. Since starting with Realise I have now been inspired to start my own blog, utilising many of the skills learnt in my 6 weeks here!
As I say goodbye to Realise, I want to thank Rebecca for giving me the chance to learn and develop my skills and for being so patient in helping me grasp areas I wasn’t so confident in. I am now going to enjoy summer before going back to university to focus on completing my degree.
Bye!
