How we can help
We hope you are keeping safe and well. I wanted to roundup some of the support, help and advice available to you from us at this current time. I hope you find it useful, and as always please get in touch if there's anything else you'd like to discuss.
The world is of course changing, changing quickly, and the way most businesses are run will change for everyone. However, the main message for business owners and marketers from the experts is that, marketing is still needed. Likely, it won't be top of mind during this crisis, but it will be something that is needed. 'Keeping the lights on' in marketing and using a 'scalpel rather than a chainsaw' to trim budgets based on ROI is commonly advised. I won't go into the many reasons why this is important here (many other articles do this very well), but I did want to share what we are offering to help so far at Realise:
Messaging audit
1.Inspired by this video from Rand Fishkin, our latest addition to our shop is a complete audit of your marketing messaging across tone and tactics. Rand argues that businesses shouldn't stand still, and should take the time to review existing messaging across the range of channels to address what customers are likely to perceive, to ensure that it is both sensitive and considered. Our package includes the full bundle of channels and 20% of the fee will be donated to NHS charities, to support their efforts in fighting Covid-19.
Free marketing consultation
2.We continue to offer our free marketing consultation (15 minutes for free or up to an hour paid through our store). Simply book a slot and let us know what you'd like to achieve and we'll recommend the best way forward. Our paid version includes;
- Pre-consultation sharing of information for a more thorough audit into your activity. This will give you an opportunity to raise specific questions, so do consider what you’d like to get out of your consultation ahead of time.
- 1 hour phone, video or Skype consultation with a marketing expert
- Follow-up summary of consultation and recommendations documentation
Free marketing resources
3.Keep an eye on our free resources section, which includes a range of downloads including a marketing project brief, and LinkedIn publishing guide. We are also working on creating more free resources in the background. If there is something else you'd like to see here please drop us a line!
Online courses
4.We are still available for teaching digital marketing courses and running training sessions online, using software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Skype. Our online courses and training are now being booked from April onwards.
Career coaching
5.If you're a marketing professional or you'd like to work in marketing, perhaps now would be a good time to review your career and plan the steps you could take whilst we are being told to stay at home. For example, for some online learning may be a good option to upskill in a particular area, or perhaps you are wondering which aspect of marketing would best suit your personality. You could get yourself fully prepped and ready to hit the ground running once the lockdown has ended. Our career coaching service could help, starting at just £49, you can discuss your options with a seasoned professional.
